DEDICATION BRAHAM LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL is not a mere ! J aggregation of buildings, classrooms, and books. Like a community, Lincoln has a spirit, which is the sum of the personalities of all the students and teachers who have passed thi-ough its gates. It is this spirit which has carried our school victoriously through all the vicissitudes of the past, through the dark days of the World War, the tur- bulent post-war period of readjustment to new concepts and ideals, and through the crisis when the very exis- tense of our school was threatened. FOREWORD T a period in the history of Abi ' aham Lincoln High School when the removal of many of our buildings has changed Lincoln ' s campus, we pi-esent this book with the idea of giving you a last picture of the old campus and something of the background of the school.
