Teaching psychology, serving as sponsor of the junior Red Cross Council, exerting much effort in the organiza- tion of class plays and proms, plus her untiring devotion to her students will perpetuate her memory. O O 74: rf . . , Wfell-known to most Abraham Lincoln students is Mrs. Mary Ethel Pomeroy, who has served in many capacities during her stay with us. As her geometry students can readily testify, her stimulating projection of subject material and sparkling explanations have given meaning to many an enigmatic figure and angle. Mrs. Pomeroy has brought a living Germany to her German classes by shar- ing experiences and knowledge gained from her studies in Europe. Whether it was guten Morgen or good morning, her congenial greeting and cheery smile brightened all her classes. As Dean of Girls, Mrs. Pomeroy has advised and helped many. Her counsel was not limited to girls, however, she assisted the seniors in securing scholar- ships, and guided them in selecting colleges. Yes, Mrs. Pomeroy, we have profited by knowing you. We take this oppor- 'tunity to gratefully acknowledge our appreciation.
