Only boys receiving a major letter in a maior sport belong to the Lettermen's Club. To create, maintain, and extend throughout the school and the community high standards of Christian character is the motto of the Hi-Y, one of A. L.'s most prominent service groups. Each year the Hi-Y helps fill and deliver the Goodfellow Christmas baskets. During Service the spring, the Hi-Y co-sponsors the Easter program and also sends represent- atives to the Hi-Y district conference. While the boys devote much time to service projects, they find time to par- ticipate in the Southwest Iowa Hi-Y Bas- ketball Tournament. Sponsor: Mr. H.
