Viola Bichel, Vocal Music Board adviser, accompanies Elaine Sorensen, who sponsors string ensembles in their many contests. Relieved of formal sponsor- y ship because of a heavy teaching load, Mr. Stout nevertheless unofficially sponsors ambitious students by keeping daily after-school hours for those who want to do extra work. Mr. Reinel supervises an in- valuable handyman group of boys in practical mechanics. Practical Arts Sponsors I Sports Sponsors Grouped in front of one of the sports department's money- makers, the popcorn machine, are three Lettermen's Club sponsors, Victor Jennings, Thomas Capel, and Vernon Doty. Joining them for a coke is Cleola Mansfield, who takes time out from a practice of the Pep Club and the Cheerleaders, which she sponsors. . 12
