Mr. John H. Althouse Guidance Chairman South Campus GUIDANCE One might ask the question, where would the Abington sen- ior be without the Guidance Department. The answer is ob- vious - Chaos. The Guidance Department, headed by Mr. John Althouse, has organized everything from rosters to Col- lege Entrance Examination tests. Mrs. Kathryn Holgate, Mr. Robert Dentel, Mrs. Muriel Oster- man, Mr, David Shenton, and Mrs. Ramon Lantz are the back- bone of the South Campus guidance staff. This staff is effi- cient, friendly, and helpful: without them we, the seniors, would be totally lost. They present us with ideas for colleges and knowledgeable advice. At North Campus, Mr. Ben Monticciolo heads the Guidance Department. His staff members are Mr. John Armstrong, Mr. Leo Awad, Mr. Roy Corkadel, Mr. Samuel Russell, Mrs. Norma Graytock, and Miss Flhoberta Wolf. These people daily tackle the horrendous job of scheduling a 17-modular day to form an effective schedule.
