Abingtonians Ably Directed The Nlusic Department might be called .-Xbingf ton's public relations section. Through the various concerts and local appearances, our music units have put Abington on the social map. The vocal section includes the A Cappella Choir, junior- Senior Chorus, and the Sophomore Concert Choir. The annual Christmas concert, given by this sec- tion, and the spring concert are two of the most awaited events of the year. The instrumental classes include band and orchestra as well as the harmony course which is held three times weekly before school. lnder the direction of Nlr. Gott- shall, Mr. Gable, and Xlr. Shade, the Music De- partment continues to progress into the sixties.
