Class ol '60 XOR x f S Qi 77 9 Q l -2 'Yr '. It is always a pleasant duty to extend congratulations to a graduating class. It is especially pleasant to con- gratulate the class of 1960. Your challenge was two-fold. First it was your task to preserve the traditions of two generations of Abing- ton students. Second, you were challenged to expand these traditions to greater heights and begin practices to be carried on by others. Academically, athletically, and extra-curricularly you have not fallen short of this high challenge. Your example of enthusiasm and progress will give further generations of Abington students an ambitious goal to attain in years to come. My sincere thanks are extended to your class for your loyalty and cooperation during this period of our great expansion. After graduation, life will call you into various paths. Further education, business, the home, and the armed services will shortly demand a practical demonstration of your accumulated education. Your role of organizer at the new Abington will, I am sure, serve you in good stead under varied conditions. In whatever group you find yourselves, please be assured ofmy sincerest wishes for your happiness and success. 9
