Spence-your friend and min-3 Lunchrocm Troupe Mr. Cunningham's battlewagxm Miss Laughlin explores Mr. Frye and Mr. Curran Pappy Tun-ner's supplies Jim Condy and his pipe 1466 Jim, remember when you left the school building at night, how firty it was? Then when you arrived next morning, how it was all 'miraculously clean again? Well, that wasnit any miracle, the custod- ins did that job with lots of hard work. Lunchtime finds the helpers ft the cafeteria, cheerfully preparing food. All during the day, secre- zries, telephone operator, engineers, and custodians work to keep Ab- igton running smoothly. Every morning and evening, faithful 'us drivers deliver us at our destination. All year school doctors, yurse, and dental technician check our physical condition. A stu- fent really feels grateful to all these helpers who work to make our chool days the best time of our life. 14

FAC LTY Even with fewer supplies and shortage of equipment, the teachers kept Abington from getting into a rut and main- tained the high standards every Abingtonian knows so well. They worked long and harcl to keep the name of Abington High School well known favorably everywhere. Along with everyone else, they worriecl through the news, blundereol through a maze of ration points, and over- came serious shortages in the school.
