Principal’s Message To the Class of 1968: The world is a proliferation of causes, movements, dissents, freedoms, happenings, hawks, doves, love-ins, users and abusers; groups hoping to catch the minds and hearts of youth. These groups have only one thing in common. They are made up of individuals. The Class of 1968 is made up of individuals and as individuals you will be judged by your college, your technical school, your employer, your military unit. Your abilities, skills, characteristics, manners, appearance, personality and beliefs will be the basis of the judgment. Success or failure will be an individual thing. The joy of success or the heartaches of failure may be shared by many but can be achieved only by you. The Group may be attractive, the cause worthy but you, the individual, are the one who will make a success or failure of your life. To each member of the Class of 1968 I offer congratulations on your accomplish- ments and I wish you health and happiness throughout your life. Sincerely, John A. Murray, Principal 8
