Homecoming Victory Highlights Week Homecoming Falcon Pride and Spirit rated high among students during Homecoming ac- tivites. All the classes busily worked on streamers and posters for the main hall. Students went wild at the Pep Rally, competing for the Spirit Trophy. It was a close decision, but the Seniors won first place. However, the football game against undefeated Chilhowie started in a state of gloom and despair. At halftime, fans looked on as Alice Morgan was crowned queen. The blue and white Senior Class float displaying the words of the school chant; Falcons Are Superstars , circled the field. Dur¬ ing the second half, the players ' spirits soared to a 20-19 edgeover victory. The bleachers, dotted with white mums, went wild as we knew we reigned once again as superstars. The annual Home¬ coming Dance gave the f ans a chance to catch their breath as couples en¬ joyed the music of Carousel. Home¬ coming, 1972, reflects smiles, vic¬ tory, and success.
