To those who have read over and over again, the ills of the educational world, we ' d like to direct attention to a different type of story. There are no ailments affecting this community or this school. Abingdon is doing a tremendous job of teach- ing us to live together in the modern world. Education is living and education we get, but far more. We’re learning how to win and lose . . . how to love and respect. We’re learning that doing is almost as important as learning. We ' re teaching ourselves to enjoy now what we can enjoy later. We ' re working hard today because tomorrow the work i? no easier. We are proud of Abingdon’s academic program, of the scholastic standards we are setting in this state through a coordinated curriculum that teaches us how to live as well as learn.
