From the beginning of the year to the close. Abilene High students are caught in a whirl of activities. From the most spirited football game to the most formal banquet, the students faithfully support and attend any important event. Still remembered in September are the many sentimental feelings attached to the events that brought the 1960-1961 term to cr close. These feelings are not lost, but only intensified. The spirit that the students hold radiates cr glow that reaches those who participate in any activity, large or small, and compells them to do their best. Abilene High students are always on the go. They uphold the good name of their school in the many extra curricular activities which challenge them. They participate effectively in community affairs whether it be marching in a parade or collecting for a good cause.
