Being mindful of the many beautiful flowers you have so graciously brought to brighten up our school, we hand you the biggest orchid of all, the 1947 Flashlight. Never shall we for- get the countless hours you have spent making attractive and beautiful stage settings for our assembly pro- grams and your original and efficient service in the dramatic department. Those who have worked with you in this department have learned to respect and admire you at all times. Acting as both instructor and friend to us, you have taught us to appreciate the best in life, the value of accurate Work, and the knowledge of good literature.
