Har- rison turned in two touchdowns for a scoring total of twelve. Dillingham and Murphey scored in the second quarterg.Bailey added the points. Harvey made a touchdown in the fourth quarter, with Dilling- ham booting the conversion. FOOTBALL NORMAN DAULTON Tackle-190 ABILENE 32-SWEETWATER 20 With Vengeance in their hearts tor tormer losses to the Sweetwater Mustangs, the Eagles trounced a strong Mustang team 32-20 on a bleak November night. After Sweetwater had tallied, the Abilene team drove seventy-two yards tor a touchdown. Terry in the second quarter proved himself a real player by speed- ing twenty-four yards for another six points. On a pass from Harrison to Francis in the closing moments of the tirst halt, another score was added to the swift heaping numbers to make the result 19-7 for the Eagles. The scoring at will by the -Warbirds stopped in the second halt, and the Eagles were held to only two touchdowns, made by Murphey and Rose-the first on a seven-yard plunge, the other on a pass good for titty-five yards. ABILENE 19-BIG SPRING 6 With things looking favorable for a district cham- pionship team, the Eagles played their smoothest game ot the year and rolled the Big Spring Steers 19-6 in a game which shared the spotlight with the argument at Odessa, won by San Angelo 49-O. It also set the stage tor the district championship game between Abilene and San Angelo at San Angelo on the following week-end. lim Harrison scored twice and Francis once, while leading the Eagles to corn- plete victory.
