The fact that Mr. L. E. Dudley has served so actively as the principal of our high school for the past fifteen years is a testimonial of the many sterling qualities of his character. His work for better educational opportunities for the youth of Abilene commands the highest respect of all students and merits the deepest gratitude of the city. He has not only proved his ability as an educator and business manager but has been one of our truest and most helpful 'friends during the time of depression. Beneath his seriousness lies his cheerful optimism and a genuine smile for each of us.
