V A Message From the Principal The yearbook theme relating the school to the rest of the community is a very appropriate one. The school is not a community in itself Cas sometimes statedj, is not apart from the community, but is an in- tegral part of any community. A class which adopts a theme to include the overall community shows a very encouraging and mature out- look for school students. The hope, of course, is that this outlook is ex- tended to an ever-increasing amount of desirable participation in civic affairs. This has been one conscious purpose of the school in which you receive your education-teaching the knowledge and skills of living as well as teaching knowledge and skills of your future occupations.
