Mr. Ellis and Mrs.'Bayer,- the sponsors, pushed us into a good year as we sold caramel apples at the foot- ball games, helped the environment by collecting beer cans, and got educated by fun-filled field trips. Learning to live better today so that our lives and those of our families will be better tomorrow was the motto that the seventy F. H. A. members and their sponsors, Mrs. Hands, Miss Newell, and Miss Robinson strived for. They were not only helpful to the school by sponsoring such activities as a Halloween Carnival, Barn Dance, Ma-Pa- Me-Supper, and a F.H.A. spon- sored school dance, but to the community by helping disadvantaged and elderly people, and they also col- lected Betty Crocker and Campbell soup labels. To- day's members are our all-American best, Future Homemakers of America. The Future Farmers of America organization, sponsored by Mr. Dru Richards, helped the stu- dents to become better farmers. They went on field trips and learned to care for animals and crops.
