1 ss, Two faithful and well-known men around our school are Mr. Ehlert and Mr. Beyer. They spend many hourskeeping our building the neat and attractive one that it is, both inside and out. Abbott Junior High is proud of its cheer- leaders. Under their direction the student body and Fans were led in cheering, pro- moting good sportsmanship and enthusiastic support at our games. There's one cheer- leader you didn't see down in front at games, but she was always behind the scenes with her assistance and helpful advice - Miss DeloresMcMillin, the spon- sor. The ninth grade cheerleaders were Marianne Fritz, Sandra Burbank, Pat Kap- tain, Judy Greenwaldt, and Janice Turner. Day in and day out during the school year Mrs. Ballard and Mrs. Harris helped prepare the delicious meals served in our cafeteria . Hot meals were served to several hundred students daily during the school year. The eighth grade cheerleaders were Ruth Martin, Carol Aurand, Pat Carey, Jane Greenwaldt, Sandra Schramm, Pat Barber, and Char Yarwood. They were on hand atall the games and did an excellent iob in cheering their teams to victory.
