The Art and Orchestra Groups were organized to make money, the proceeds of which have gone to charity organizations. The Art Group ' s work was used for the annual Abbot Bazaar. The Knitting and Sewing Groups made much-needed clothing for people in devastated countries abroad, which these people would not have had otherwise. The Forum and Student Feder- alists met to discuss the important problems and current events of the world. OUTWARD BOUND Back Row: Quigg, Pendleton, Jenkins, Bisgood Front Row: Kay, Cookman, Macartney, Adkins, Tasche The Abbot Dramatic Society this year has felt the loss of our director, Mrs. Gray, who for thirty years had given herself unstintingly to the dramatic and cultural life of Abbot. Miss Hearsey expressed our feelings with regard to our sudden loss when she spoke of Mrs. Gray in Chapel after the news of her death came to us. She told of her long service to Abbot, of her coming to the faculty in 1917, and of her constant devotion and en- thusiasm for her work here. Mrs. Gray started A.D.S. soon after she came, and had directed A. D. S. ADS. BACKSTAGE Hack Row: Kay, Tasche, Macartney, Bisgood, -I en- kins, Cook w a ii Front Row: Pendleton, Adkins, Quigg [50]
