Abbot has again un- dertaken service to the world, under the new name of World Unity Service Groups - - with the realization that the struggle for peace has just begun, and that we must play our small but necessary part in a changing world — work- ing to maintain peace. The Art and Orchestra Groups were organized to make money, the proceeds of which have gone to charity organizations. The Art Group ' s work was used for the annual Abbot Bazaar. The Knitting and Sewing Groups made much-needed clothing for people in devastated countries abroad, which these people would not have had otherwise. The Forum and Student Feder- alists met to discuss the important problems and current events of the world. At first it did not seem possible that we could ever get the dummy set up, but soon the Circle began to take shape. . .meetings were held with Mr. Cole and Mrs. Reeves. Typical phrases heard were: Are all the sayings done? Let ' s be different, let ' s not have write-ups! ' ' Deadline, Monday, Murder Line Tuesday.
