PERHAPS we wax a bit sentimental when we dub our Principal and our faculty guide of our youth, but we are so truly aware at all times of their influence and friendship that such a designation is, in fact, appropriate. Their corridor parties where cokes and corn cakes abound, their community radios, their daily scouting tours to trace down the inevitable pussies, and the re- sulting comments tucked coyly in our blotters, all form ' a pattern of Abbot life we will never forget. We will long value their interest, their wisdom, their table conversa- tion spiced with humor and news, and their confidence in us. But most of all we will remember absorbing class discussions when we became initiated into that stimulat- ing process of thinking for ourselves, and where we learned to respect the ideas of others. Ever Ready — By Day . And By Night
