Under the sponsorship of Miss Leighton, the group has games, discussions, debates, plays, and musical programs at its bi-weekly meet- ings. For the benefit of all students of Spanish, El Ateneo presented this year a program consisting of Spanish songs, dances and a short play called Don Enrique va a los Estados Unidosn. B. Davis High School. Four subscription performances were given by the members during the year. The main production of the society was Billie, by Cameron, given May 12 and 13. Some of the members also participated in the Count and the Co-ed, the annual musical comedy. Organized under the sponsorship of Mr. Murphy. the group started out as the Contemporary Civilization Club: the name was later changed to the Seven S's fSocial Science Society for the Study and Solution of Social Situationsj and still later to the Forum. The programs this year have included talks by Herbert Aronson, County Supervisor, and Miss Mann, as well as group discussions on such topics as Socialism, Technocracy, and the Beer Situation.
