The Art Department moved into a new building this year offering more space. Future plans for expansion include a dark room for photographs and hopefully an an gallery in an abandoned T-building. Treasurer-Reporter: Brian Gochet The Science Gub hasn't been as active this year as in previous years. They have a proposed trip to Ship Island. Mr. Brown is Currently trying to organize a Chess Team for parish competition.

Treasurer-Aldo Gomez, Reporters-Chris Tullier, Ashley Kozak. Hayley McConnell The Foreign Language Qub is one of the most active clubs at Woodlawn. Trips were taken to New Orleans and Disney World, and there was also a dinner held at Vince Soitiles. The club collected money for various charities such as the Mexican Relief Fund and for the victims of the volcano eruption in Colombia. For Homecoming week the club decorated F Hall and won first place. The biggest project the Foreign Language Club undertook was the Festival of Languages, a parish wide competition for language Students. It was a busy and successful year for the club. Joy Saunier The Student Government Association was involved in many activities, beginning with the Honor Roll Assembly held in September to honor A b students from the 1985 Spring semester. They also sold Woodlawn penrj during that month. In October, they sold buttons to build spirit during the football seasor sponsored the Veteran's Day program and a President's breakfast in N’ove December brought with it the sales of Candy Grams, a Christmas dance t Teacher Pal Week. In February, SGA sponsored another dance, the Swer dance. They also organized the 1985 Fall semester Honor Roll Assemble In March, the club sold Panther Pads, which are handy books containr. students' phone numbers. The I Care drive, senior T-shirt sales, and the election of officers for next year were April activities, with Teacher Appreciation Week festivities closing out the school year.
