most important one, was the Junior-Senior Prom, which proved to be a very in ioyful and beautiful affair. The Queen and her Court presided over the evening. Bonnie Steindurf was chosen Queen by the entire student body with her court as follows: Seniors-Lottie Patton and Florence Shepherd, Juniors-Gwen Murphy and Alice Arika. They each were presented a large bouquet of roses. Another important event given by the Juniors was the Junior- Senior Picnic, which was a combination of swimming and picnick- ing. This occasion was attended by many Juniors and Seniors, who found it most relaxing and refreshing. Many of the Juniors represented the school in the numerous school activities. The Echo staff, the Yearbook staff and members of the Photography Club represented the school in Ann Arbor at the International Inter-scolastic Press Association. Willow Run High School was also represented by Willie Ash- ford in the Regional Oration contest in which he won first prize. June Johnson and Joyce Bryant, displayed their artistic talents on a bulletin board prepared in connection with the Michigan Week. While listening to the Harmonettes, we noticed that three of them are from the great class of l959. We now bid our farewell to the Seniors of l958. Our hope and desire is that our senior year will be as delightful and prosperous as theirs. Reading from left to right: Harold Phillips, Bill Martin, Clyde Ritchie, and Egbert House were selected to represent Willow Run High School at Boy State during the summer for one week. Harold Phillips was selected as the alternater. svgtgheiggi B H 1 . . . Fee? M L-,sw
