sir ALUMNI ASSOCIATION at »' — f Celebrating their thirty-year reunion was the Class of '54 and their spouses. Class members pictured are Delmer Allen, Jimmy Pirtle, Anna Doris Cocke Pirtle, Tom Poteet, Betty Hendricks Callison, Thelma French Dunlap, Clyde Chigger Holbird, and Lionel Young. The Wilburton High School Alumni Association was established in 1915. They meet annually for a banquet on the Saturday night before Easter. President Gary Boyd, presiding at the 1984 banquet, speaks to the 500-plus members who have gathered in the junior high gymnasium. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Smith represent the many students and faculty who have passed through the halls of WHS. The Class of '84 will soon be the newest alumni. The Band students serve the large banquet with effi- ciency and have fun at the same time. Melanie Bruner and Shelly Poor prepare to serve more plates of food.
