This charming blonde is Cheri Carter, who was Maid of Honor for our 1954 Homecoming. Cheri was escorted onto the field by Hoyt Almond and looked radiant as she walked through the arch. She was chosen by the senior class of which she is a most outstanding member. This vivacious senior finds time for many extra-curricular acti- vities besides her classwork.

Janice poses before the Christmas tree in the lobby. The geometry classes annually put up a tree and decorate it. HOMECOMING QUEEN The alumni of West Stanly were certainly please- ed with the seniors ' choice for the 1964 Homecoming Queen, Miss Janice Hinson. She is the lovely 5 ' 5 1 2 , brown-eyed, brunette who greets everyone with a friendly smile. Janice looked stunning as she was escorted down the field by Dexter Hinson. Mr. Garmon crowned Janice the 1964 Homecoming Queen after she stepped through the enormous green and white horseshoe. Andria Barbee, president of the Beta Club, presented her with a dozen red roses. Then she and her court reigned over the remainder of the ball game.

JUNIOR ATTENDANTS Sandra Almond, looking very charming, was escorted on the field by Bobby Huneycutt. She appeared under the horseshoe and then took her place on the forty-yard line. Directly following her came the other lovely junior attendant. Nancy Lowder, escorted by Larry Efird, took her place.
