Pirate Swingers The West Carrollton Lady Pirate softball team ended with a recovering season after a slow start. The Pirates, having been affected by the levy, opened the season with four losses in a row. After Spring break and a chance to catch up, however, the Pirates had a five game winning streak and were competing for first place in the MCC. It took a lot of hard work and dedication, but the team ended the season with a sense of victory. 1. Mel McCully fires the bdl to first base. 2. Karen Hendrickson welcomes the throw for the out. 3.
