Boys' Club members examine plans for the victory cannon. The many activities of Boys' Club aided in pro- moting school spirit and establishing school tra- dition. This year's Boys' Club activities included sponsor- ing rooter bus trips for football and basketball games, presenting a dance featuring a Battle of the Bands, building the successful Homecoming bonfire, and selling PAW sweat shirts. The main project for the year was planning and constructing a victory cannon for W.H.S. At the end of the year, the Boy of the Year was awarded fifty dollars.

N vztiomzl H onor Society National Honor Society promoted the standards of leader- ship, scholarship, character, and service. Each member was selected on this basis. The members met the four categories in the following ways. Activities of Honor Society included compiling Honor Roll lists, an assembly honoring new members, formal in- ductions of members, presenting Teacher Appreciation Day, and the annual Dollars for Scholars drive. The members climaxed the year with their annual party pre- sented by the juniors for the graduating seniors.
