With the return of last year's high-scoring freshmen, the Wildcat kcglcrs hope to gain a berth in the round robin E.C.B.L. tourna- ment by repeating as the Eastern Intercol- legiate Bowling League — Delaware Valley Section — Champions. WEIGHT LIFTING The Villa nova University Weightlifting team culminated a highly successful 1967 season by placing third in the National Col- legiate Powerlifting Championships last May. At the Nationals, Villanova’s team captain, John Dzurenko, won the most valu- able lifter award. This year’s squad of iron men, under Coach O’Callaghan, and led by Jim Repucci, presently the top power lifter in the country, is stronger than ever, and is a top contender for the National Cham- pionship. 207
