Goecf Gapers — an afternoon during Homecoming Weekend de- signed especially for capering , frolicking, skipping and leaping, pulling and shoving, mud-slinging and bucket-sitting, shouting, laughing and giggling. Inter-organizational events included a Flog Race, Egg Toss, Mud Hunt, Tugs-of-war, Greased Pole Climb, Pie Eating Contest, Sack Race, Three-legged Race, Shoe Scramble, and Musical Buckets A peaceful mud ole became the scene of bustling excitement OS coeds scramble and splash in their search for the hidden treasure .

SIGMA LAMBDA CHI ( Miss Leigh Stevens Sweetheart of Sigma Lambda Chr SST£ HllJ Prize-Winning Bulldog boosted Spirit during Homecoming celebrations. Executice Council: Tony Andrews-Speed, historian; Tom Hudgens, comptroller; Don Tweed, Executive Secretary; Bill Mott, President; Steve Lucas, Vice-President; Mr. Don McCrimmon, Advisor, AX , a social fraternity, has shown its all-round capacity through various octivities this year. Among its mony achievements was the huge Bulldog which dominated the compus scene during Homecoming Weekend and their winning of Coed Capers. With increased membership, obilities, goals, and experience, 2AX s record will continue to be a bright one.
