PanhcUenic— A Positi c Orientation for Sororities Panhcllcnic is the uniting and coordi- nating force for the 20 sororities at the University. At Council meetings, the delegates from the sororities discuss mutual problems, promote high schol- arship and social standards and vote on policy matters. The development of leadership is stressed. The largest proj- ect of the year is the organization and supervision of formal rush. Panhellenic and Junior Panhellenic Councils helped to coordinate several money-raising drives this year. The Mothers ' March, an apple sale and the Penny Drive were three of the tangible ways the sorority women faced their responsibilities to the comnuinitv.
