Flag nd Rifle Corp The U-High Flag and Rifle Corps con- tinued to do their very best throughout another school year. Mr. Gary Green, the group's advisor, stated, I am particularly pleased with these girls and very proud of their accomplishments this year. They're highly dedicated and it is shown by their accomplishments at every performance. Two changes made the 1978-1979 school year important to the Corps. New music and uniforms were added this year. The uniforms were paid for with fund-raising projects, such as the student body's car raille. Flag captains, Terry Yandt and Mary Cardoza and Rifle captain, Kami Heuston kept their teams in top shape this year with lots of practice. Three times a week, at 6:45 a.m., they met at school and practiced for 2 hours. They also got together for an extra session on an occasional Saturday morning. 'The effect of these practices were the shivers sent down our spines and the high level of enthusiasm we all felt at each game our pride and joy attended.
