Fresh men I started out like all the rest, just a Freshman still puffed up over my high school triumphs, and little realizing that as far as the rest of the school was concerned, I was just about as low as the stock market. I wore a green beanie, broke all Freshman traditions just to prove I could, and watched the Freshman women date upperclassmen. Naturally, I complained about the comprehensive tests, the dormitories and all assign- ments, and pessimistically predicted a flunk on every test I took. But though I was green, I was the spirit of C. U., and a powerful amount of enthusiasm, pep, and loyalty went into my college life that first year.
