BOARD OF EDUCATION August 26, 1962, the 15th year for Community Unit District No. 4., marked the completion of the building with the dedication of the addition to Unity High. Mr. William Dietrick has been school attorney during the 15 years. Norman Arnold has acted as superintendent the past three years, with James Steinman as assistant, and Ellis Simler as Unity High Principal. Leslie Smith, a farmer, has served for three years; Donald Frazier, a farmer, has served one year; James Spohr, a carpenter, filled in the unexpired term of Wilbert Huntley; Carlton Myers, manager of Experimental Farm for Moorman’s, has been president for the past year; Keith Sickles, manager of Ursa Co-op, was newthis year; Donald Peter, a farmer, was secretary; Galen Parrack, a real estate dealer, has completed his second year. The completion of the building program is evidence that the Board has met the challenge of providing educational facilities for the Unit.
