Miss Bernice Howard Department Head Boys haven't got all the brains, says Nancy Swiatkiewicz as she shows fellow students how to work a simple Algebra problem. Mathematics Department Although the math department has not changed a great deal throughout the years, a recent change which it has undergone is the accelerated math courses the first year student gets in Algebra I, II, and III, the second year student receives Plane and Solid Geometry. The last two years are devoted to more advanced math courses. The geom-o-tree, another addi- tion, is becoming a tradition of the math department.
