HENRIETTA MARY GUMINAK Hennya . . . all light and smiles . . . Hennya belonged to the Commercial and Home Eco- nomics Clubs. She was a Bank Day cashier, and Mrs. Reidy's secretary. Hennya served on various dance committees. JOHN GMYREK Barsi lt is wonderful how much talent runs into manners. Barsi was in the American Legion Oratorical Contest and he won a medal for oratory. He was in the Spanish and Glee Clubs, and was in three plays. Barsi was a stage manager for the senior play. PATRICIA ANN HAHN Pat A sweet attractive kind of grace. Pat was a tumbler, a twirler, and an alternate at Junior Prize Speaking. She was chosen for Girls' State during her junior year. Pat was a member of the Latin, Art, Glee, French, History, and Community Service Clubs. Pat was also on the costume committee for the senior play. RICHARD PAUL HOGAN Hogie A pleasant companion is as good as a coach. Hogie played basketball for one year and managed the football, baseball and basketball teams. He was a member of the Spanish Club and the Netop staff. He was Dr. Burton in the senior play. 29

My mind to me a kingdom is, Such perfect joy therein I find. Jeannie was in the Latin, Art, French, History, and Glee Clubs. She was a Pro Merito and was on the Netop and Our Town staffs. Jeannie served on various dance com- mittees and was on the ticket committee for the senior play. RICHARD HAROLD GRAVES Rich Good Temper, like a sunny day sheds a brightness over everything, it is the sweetness of toil and the soother of quietude. Rich was in the band, Latin, and French Clubs. He was treasurer of the History Club and a member of the Netop and Our Town staffs. Rich was Mr. Gilbreith, the father, in the senior play. HOWARD MILTON GREENE Hector Their silence shall be interpreted as we approach them. Hector was on the track team, and was a member of the Glee Club. He was Fred in the senior play. He served on various dance committees. JACQUELINE MADELYN GUILBAULT Jackie Let them call it mischief, When it is past and prospered 'twill be virtue. Jackie was a member of the Art, Latin, French, Glee, History, and Community Service Clubs. She was on the Netop and Our Town staffs. Jackie was secretary to Miss Purrington. ROY B. HOUSMAN Jumbo A cheerful life is what the muses love. Jumbo was on the basketball, football, and baseball teams for one year. He served on various dance committees. Jumbo was an electrician for the senior play. EDWARD WILLIAM HUGHES Teddy That boy with the grave mathematical-mind. Teddy was in the band and Swingsters. He belonged to the Art, Latin, French, and History Clubs. He played basket- ball and baseball. Ted was a Pro Merito, and was on the Netop staff. DAviD GARDNER HURLBUT Skippy Born for success, he seemed With grace to win, with heart to holcl- Skippy was president of the Spanish Club, secretary of the History Club, and president of the Pro Merito Society of Massachusetts. He received the Harvard prize book during his iunior year. Skippy played baseball and football. CELIA JOAN KORTZ CeIka There was a little girl, who had a little curl . . . Celka was a typist on the Netop and Our Town staffs. She was a cashier for Bank Day, and was secretary to Miss Kelly. She was secretary of the Home Economics Club and belonged to the Commercial Club. Celka was business manager for Junior Prize Speaking, and property manager N for the senior play. i
