Mixed Chorus The lVIixed Chorus, a group of approximately thirty-live members has performed on several occasions during the past school year. In October they performed for Teachers Institute at VVashington High School and in December they sang for Trinity High's Christmas program. The Boys' Double Quartette composed of Vance Andrew, Jennings Hart, Robert Lawton, Bruce Crompton, John YVright, Norman hiegesy, Jack Nloninger, and Richard Dille sang at the Football Banquet. The Chorus also sang at the First Methodist Church in VVashington during the pre-lfiaster season for the Sunday evening Union Service. The Music Festival was held in April.

Beginning Girls' Chorus The object of Beginning Girls' Chorus is to give a foundation in sing- ing which will build material for Advanced Girls' Chorus. ln this group the students get experience in part singing while their voices are classified and developed in the proper range. The general rudiments of music are stressed more in this group than in the Advanced Girls' Chorus because the groundwork is being laid for the advanced group. Tryouts are held in the Spring when successful candidates are accepted into the Advanced Girls' Chorus. All girls of Trinity High are eligible to tryout for the chorus.
