Being a member of the hd required hours of hard work and dication, two things synonymous with sleep, no senior lunch, tired feet, ning streak winnings, and losses-mainly wins. victories seemed to be a very big part of the year. A winning streak started out November IO when the band received a first division in inspection and marching at the UIL city wide contest held at Alamo Stadium. The show consisted of a routine that the band presented during football season.
