SENIOR DECA Distributive Education Clubs of America were formed to foster sales as a career and to teach high school students the fundamentals of retailing. Officers of this year's senior D.E.C.A. were Pauline Sedon, president, Linda Boswell, vice president. Projects this year included a bake sale and arrangement of the display windows outside Room 200 and 232. Sandy Courtney, Janice Crum, Pauline Sedon. l y C.O.E. Seniors from secretarial, accounting, and business machines comprised the C.O.E. Club which was formed this year at Timken. Each member attended school in the morning and worked at a local business during the afternoon. The purpose of the club was to meet with other schools throughout the state that had C.O.E. programs. HOMEROOM REPRESENTATI ES The Homeroom Representatives were an active group of high school students dedicated to the better- ment of their classes. Chosen by fellow students, they displayed those qualities of leadership most desirable among others. Each representative had a number of duties bestowed upon him by his fellow classmates. They believed that their representative was the best qualified for his position of leadership. N TION L HONOR SOCIETY ESE we In order to be inducted into the National Honor Society, a student must show unusual Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service while attending Timken. He must also be a member of the junior or senior class and have the recommendation of a faculty committee of teachers. No honor conferred by Timken Vocational High School excells that of membership in the National Honor Society. Old Members-Row 1: Sue Varna, janet Harold, Hoson Martin, Linda Matthews.
