Junior Tri-Hi-Y Encourages Good Citizenship ond Service The .lunior 'liri-Hi-Y, one of the largest and most influential clubs in 'llifton High School, is a Christian organization for girls in the fresh- man and sophomore classes. lt encourages religious activities in the school and often its members give the devotional in the homerooms. Other school and community projects of this club were making favors for hospital trays on tive occasions, collecting food and clothing for the needy, pre- senting chapel program and the lnstallation Ser- yice at the Program Planning Conference, spon- soring an honesty campaign and a church loyalty project, participating in 'lieen-Talks, holding road blocks for polio and Heart Fund llrives and seniling delegates to Youth Assembly. To create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community, high standards of Christian character -through their many school and community projects.
