The Dramatic Club was organized in the Fall of 1956. Its purpose is to fulfill the need of students who are interested in acting, production, make-up and scenery design. The sponsors are Miss Ellen Conyers, Mrs. Myra Crump and Mrs. Daisy Reames. % The chorus is divided into two sections, a mixed chorus and a girls’ chorus. Under the direction of Mr. Ralph Percival the group performs at assemblies and song fetes. They also attended a recent music festival at Randolph Macon College and won the rating of above average. D. monogram through participation in sports—hockey, football, basketball, baseball, softball, and track. An annual Athletic Banquet is held in the spring for all who have participated in sports during the year.
