Not much can ,be added to what is known about the Guadalupe Valley Creamery. lt extends dairy service to the entire region, and its products go all over the state. Because of the quality of its goods, it has enjoyed such growth that it is now housed in several buildings and requires a large staff of employees and a fleet of trucks to carry out its program. For the best in milk products-see the Guadalupe Valley Creamery. Standing at the four corners, Mich- na's is Seguin's most diversified business. It handles those good Gulf products, in connection with its excellent filling sta- tion service. It distributes Firestone tires, battery, and other automotive items: it operates a complete hardware and toy store, it sells freezers, refrigerators and similar household units. In all of these, Michna's include cheerful service and at- tention, small wonder then, that Michna's is widely patronized. Two businesses, the Donegan Insur- ance Agency and the Seguin Building and Loan Association, are joined in spirit by the two men who together, operate them: Hugh Donegan and Anthony Mays. The Insurance Agency f2U6'W. Courtl has since 1911, offered protection plus service toy the many people fortunate enough to have let the agency help them. The Building and Loan Ass'n C204 W. Courtl offers insured investments or home loans to anyone desirous of making wise steps in business and his future. For many years now Van Gilders has been one of Seguin's most delightful res taurants and meeting places. I-Iere in ar atmosphere of reserved beauty friend: can gather for a delicious meal or for c snack, while soft music and the gayly decorated interior make for real enjoy- ment. ,Like the Rotary Club, why not plar to-visit Van Gilders or the Orange Bowf atleast weekly, for the best in eating out? i 4 .

Ioe's Cafe, situated in the center of town, enjoys the reputation of being Se- guin's finest restaurant, and it deserves it. It has spacious serving space to ac- commodate the hundreds of customers who daily come, it has a staff of cooks who prepare food in the best possible manner, and its efficient arrangement and super neatness please the most criti- cal eyes. Yes, for the best service, go to loe's Cafe. Probably Seguin's largest single indus- try is the Seguin Milling Co., makers oi that iamiliarly good White House flour. ln their huge plant, at the river, a variety of milling operations are carried on, grains are processed, flour is milled, feeds are manufactured, all with care and precision. For the best in grain products, see the Seguin Milling Com- PUHY- f. The Palace and Texas motion picture theaters are assuredly the greatest con- tinuous recreational features ol this city. Young and old, rich and poor, all go to the movies for relaxation, for education, for pleasure. The movie owners recog- nize this, and are striving to present ever- better programs and to provide the best ot facilities for the public to enjoy them- selves more. Sagebiel's-a name that has grown with Seguin. How true when one re- members how many jobs this business does: complete filling station service, bat- tery service anywhere, automotive part sales, tire sales, 24-hour service, and even repair service. No wonder that the large Sagebiel station has become a landmark to dwellers and visitors alike in this town.
