Greg Hoefer received top honors of 10 entrants in Creed speaking and Scott Peterson and Rick Grauerholz placed third in agricultural demonstrations at the contest held at Curtis. Also placing at a District Contest in Curtis were Mike and Mitch Neilsen who placed third as a team in farm wiring and Bill Carr and Roger Miller who rated fourth as a team in tractor maintenance. Marvin Mueller was high individual in junior livestock judging at a contest at McCook. Agriculture classes at the Sutherland School include animal science, livestock produc- tion, crop production, small engines, and other mechanics, farm equipment building and small building construction.
