Dear Students Your teachers have been and are concerned with inspiring and preparing you to make intelligent choices in a space-age society fraught with dangers both tangible and intangible. This modern period of history which you are helping to make is accelerated as never before. The prevading sense of speed can easily catch you up and hurl you into a situation where you are tempted to make hasty decisions and judgments which will be later regretted. I caution you to keep abreast of the times yet conservative in attitude. Ours is an interdependent worldg the have not peoples yield great power-sticks with their ability to choose, and the haves are not necessarily powerful because of their wealth.
