Suitland's Scarlet and White bands performed at athletic events and school functions during the year. Led by drum majors, Paul Ulrich and Harry Martindale and directed by James Lally, the musicians paraded through Wash- ington, D.C.. New York, and Winchester as well as through Suitland. ln order to raise funds to pay for their new uniforms, the Scarlet and White sold chocolate bars. ries ecords Memories Of Year Headed by editor-in-chief Judy Byrd, the Aries staff has worked hard through- out the year to produce a yearbook with all the qualities the students desire. The theme for this year's annual is Our Storyq, the story of Suitland High School and the class of '60, Wvorking during class periods and af- ter school, the staff has decided upon a theme, designed a cover, made layouts, written copy, and collaborated with the photographers to obtain pictures of all activities, clubs and organizations.
