Music Groups Recreafe Choral Numbers I ! S Members of the A Capella choir prepare to practice for one of their many appearances. Singing and listening to great choral pieces, the A Capella Choir and the Mixed Chorus developes a love and appreciation for music. While accomplishing this, the choir and chorus has also given much enjoyment to their listeners. The choir is the highest choral section and one of the most active groups in school. Giving a Christmas Con- cert, Variety Show, and Spring Concert, plus participat- ing in school assemblies are among its activities. Con- tributing to county and state choral programs are among others. Those holding positions were Bert Bigbee, presidentg Bill Lectlta, vice presidentg Gloria Baker, secretary: and Ruth McMullan, treasurer. Contributing and combining their voices with those of the choir, the mixed chorus performed at various assemblies and programs. Both groups were led by Mrs. Pelling. f ' J , v Members of Mrs. Pelling's All-Girl's Chorus practice for one of their selections. Good music appreciation and helping other people appreciate good music is the aim of the All-Girl's Chorus. Wliile accomplishing this, they take part in many activitiesg singing in the Christmas Concert, Variety Show, Spring Concert, and assemblies. Under the direction of Mrs. Pulling, the chorus is ofriciated over by two sets of officers.
