PROPHECY The year is 1984 and the place Starpoint Central School. It's practically un- changed in appearance since 1966 when our Class graduated. The only changes are that the people who were accustomed to wander the halls, now patrol them. John Rutherford, always in command of the situation, is now the Superintendent of Schools, while Al Lindemuth is Secondary Principal and Dennis Kroll, Elemen- tary Principal. john Jenks is his assistant. We can find Linda Breitenbach teaching Latin students their verbs. Other teachers are: Sue Damerell CSocial Studiesl, Alice McNamara CFrenchJ, Sue Weller CMathD, Nancy Majchrzak CNurseJ, and Kathy Menard CPhysical Educationj. Tom Kreppenneck is the slowest Physical Education teacher ever to bounce a ball. Pat Altemus, always a hard worker, is secretary for the Superintendent. Karen Tokarchick, Marilyn jones, Helene Krzywda, Belle Grobe, and Carol Fiegel are secretaries in the Guidance office of Fred Haugh, Joanne LaPort, and Larry Duscher. The Attendance Officer is Ralph Flack. In the high school office we have other members of the Class of '66: Mary Barraclough, Ann jasinski, Linda McClellan, Diane Beechy, and Kathy Moore-all secretaries. Eileen Ostrowski, Susan Wall, Gloria Winter, Donna Smith, and Janice Janiec are also secretaries in the school. In the Health Office Anita Deuser, Pam Davis, Rachel Pollow, and Mary Heim are curing all of the 'sick' people. The 'uncureables' are sent to school phychi- atrists, Andy Dierken and Dave Stein. The faces of some of the children in the halls look familiar. They look like the children of Robin Wisniewski and Ken Mayer, Dave Downey and Kathy Noonan, Cheryl Krull, and Ann Barcer and Bill Haylett. Any school must be kept clean and Ken Gottstein, jack McCloskey, Wade Bechtel and Robert Hoffman are members of the very important staff that performs this task. Keith Stebbins, head custodian, seems to have found his real place in life. Some of our seniors: Roger Laport, Wayne Perry, Paul Cieluzak, and joe Cap- itumino, got so misty-eyed over the thought of leaving Starpoint that they decided to stay, and are still wandering the halls. Head of the cafeteria staff is Dave Ollenbittle, the famous cook. He is es- pecially famous for his cherry pies. He is assisted by his staff: Ellen Schroeder, Barbara Haylett, Nancy Hendley, Roberta Kenyon, and Marie Koller. The milk for the cafeteria is delivered from the farms of Alan Flack, Dan Krezemien, and Dan Fiegel. Norma Bennett, Dick Goodman, Herbert Hales, and Stephen Heaton drive the buses. We'll now turn the time ahead to early evening. Everyone is there to see the Pendleton Pigskins, that famous football team, play basketball against the faculty with a wrestling exhibit during half time. It seems some of our athletes, Al Hurst, Bill Vesper, Dick Voelker, John Hey, Tim Sherwood, and joe Monkelbaan, couldn't 34
