Getting Initiated Students at St. Ignatius can get involved in nearly everything, but if for some reason someone has an interest that is not represented at SI, he or she has the ability to start something new. This year a number of students felt that the SI community lacked something, so they took the initiative and created new clubs. The Armenian Club, The Conservative Students Coalition, St. Ignatius Live, and The Video Game Club were all newly established this year. Their founders drafted club constitutions, asked for approval by Student Council, were reviewed, and if accepted will function as probationary clubs for the next two years. If successful, in 2005 these new clubs will be full-fledged members of Student Council. These four new clubs prove that if something isn't available at SI, someone will make it so.
