IIT mM Fl Catho'c each' g ay ourish Extending her hands as if to welcome each Xavierite, the statue of Our Lady of Grace is cen- tralized on the campus of Saint Xavier's Academy. Evergreen shrubs, plush green grass, radial walks, and seasonal-changing maple and elm trees tit- tingly surround this symbol of our Blessed Lady. Nearby, stands L-shaped Academy Hall, the most modern of the Academy's three buildings. With ivy covering its red brick facade, Mercy Hall is situated between Academy Hall and Xavier Hall, the resi- dence of Saint Xavier's faculty. As the first of the present structures, Mercy Hall was erected in 1855 to house expanding enrollment.
