German Club ,,,E.W club advisor is Herr Speder. German Club 41 German Club is the largest club in the school We participate in the Homecoming Parade by building prize winning floats. German Club also participates in such school activities as pep as semblies, all school Barbecues, and other vari ous school activities. German Club has a spring and a fall picnic, and an annual trip to Chicago We also play the other High School German Clubs in rousing games of Volleyball. Every year we are in the International Dinner with the other Foreign Language Clubs in the school German Club is made up of mostly German stu dents, but it is open to anybody who would like to join. X T' 'Wah -J-it-. 1 The faculty diners club was founded this year as an interdisciplinary organization whose avowed purpose is to strengthen a dwindling faculty morale as well as appetite. Members of the Art, English, and Special Ed. Departments meet each Friday on the first lunch shift to participate in an act of communion with the aid of creative cuisine and crude conversation. History Club The History Club is a group of students, not necessarily enrolled in a history class, who take field trips to places of historical interest in the area and take a larger trip at the end of the year. ln 1976 they held a mock election in conjunction with the state Board of Elections. They are also planning to write a pamphlet dealing with local history. But mostly they are a group of fun-loving students and not your book-worm type people usually associated with a History Club. 42 History Club
